In 2014, our family suffered great loss and lived through a parent’s worst nightmare. I was pregnant with twins and went into premature labour at 22 weeks. Our beautiful boys fought so hard, but just came to soon. Baby A, Luciano, lived hours and Baby B, Matteo, lived a few months before passing. My husband and I were heart broken and at a complete loss. Despite the circumstances, we kept busy working on some DIY projects. Naturally, my husband is very handy and I have an interior design background.
The first piece was the “Love never fails” quote. We both found that brought us a little peace. So, I found more projects to work on. Slowly we posted pictures on Facebook and sparked interest in our local community. Gradually, evolving to where we are today.
We love the idea of “Something from nothing”, which is exactly what pallet art is. A majority of our pieces are made from reclaimed pallet wood. They have great presence bringing character and warmth to a space.
A lot of our wood is reclaimed pallet wood, barn wood and some purchased wood. We love to utilize different looks and some of the finishes varying from a rich walnut, pine, ebony and white wash. The perfect fit for a farmhouse feel. The options are endless when it comes to the quotes and finishes.
